Ok so I’ve purchased from tykables for longer then a decade, still owning 2 jeans using the snaps instead of Velcro. I’ve bought 4 of these corduroy shorts (back ups) and went through many of the red and blue twills 4 each, both versions which were the coolest design here imo. Both are discontinued sadly.
Not sure if this is a returning design or new, but the corduroy look very rich, they are soft, and your childhood very much comes alive in a similar way as the twills. The corduroy design has a very different note, they look like the same color of a giant teddy bear, they LOOK like boy shorts! I’m a little and I’m very public about that, I’m not ashamed nor do I keep it private. I’ve gotten compliments on these.
Months later after buying 4 pairs.. and reviewing 1 pair worn quite often. Thr downside is that the Velcro always fail on every single pair of these that I get. I mean every single color, even the jeans will lose their strength. It’s a nice option to have the Velcro, as it’s no secret why that fits into the audience tykables sells to. Despite the Velcro the fabric is in perfect shape. Color does fade from all of these, and the color is still VERY lush and gives you that childhood toy land feeling. It’s an amazing product and I strongly recommend. Don’t even question it. Get the shortfalls on top of it.
Mind you these products I wear around the clock, practically I wear… all my stuff outside the house and around the house. I’m diapered 24/7 so tykables clothing suits me best. I do take very good care of my clothes… and I made sure to never undo the Velcro to my first pair of corduroys. 5 months later the Velcro is loose. Still wearing able not super noticeable. Velcro to First pair of tykables blue twills are ruined completely, my most heavily worn clothing item of all time. And again the coolest one ever sold on this website.
Tykables, make some pants out of the corduroys, give us other pants besides jeans, I’ll buy several pairs. WE will buy them. I gave this 5 stars despite the Velcro design I detest. These are a masterpiece visual design.
